During Tuesday’s proceedings (June 10), jurors heard a voice message Diddy sent to the woman identified in court as ‘Jane.’ In the March 2023 message, Diddy is heard saying:

“You are the crack pipe. That’s my new nickname for you: crackpipe.”

When questioned under cross-examination, Diddy’s defense attorney, Teny Geragos, asked Jane to explain the meaning behind the nickname. Jane responded, stating that Diddy was “addicted to having sex” with her.

The court also played Jane’s recorded response to the message, in which she replied:

“Crackpipe is so real for both of us.”

The nickname, along with the context surrounding it, adds yet another controversial layer to the ongoing trial, which has already included disturbing testimony related to sex trafficking, abuse, and power dynamics in Diddy’s inner circle.
