Deion Sanders Claims Superbowl Has Wosened His Health

Deion Sanders, the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes and an NFL legend, has fought innumerable fights both on and off the field. Fans have once again been reminded of his tenacity and will, nevertheless, by his most recent health issues.

Sanders, who has had two toes amputated and has had 12 operations, recently provided a worrisome health update, describing how the chilly weather affected him.

But as always, he keeps going because of his mother Connie Knight’s ingrained fighting spirit.

Despite a health scare, Deion Sanders is unstoppable

Sanders gave his fans an update on his health on Instagram on February 19. He clarified that the severe weather change upon his return to Texas after watching the Super Bowl in New Orleans had left him feeling ill.

Sanders revealed: “Super Bowl in New Orleans, the weather was wonderful till the last day, it didn’t start raining. We left that evening and drove back to Texas. We got out of our truck at like 3 am and it was freezing. And I think that’s when it happened,”

He acknowledged that at first, he made an effort to continue working out in spite of his condition, but finally, the symptoms overcame him. But instead of dwelling on the bad, Sanders saw the bright side.

He stated: “Usually when I catch a bug, I’m happy. Y’all start tripping. It gets me the rest I need, leans me out like I am, and I’m ready,”

Sanders stressed his dedication to his athletes and his role at Colorado, while being hooked up to an IV. He said: “A lot of my staff says I’m stubborn because I love to work, I love the young men, I love the kids. I don’t call it work. I call it a ‘calling.’ They say ‘stay home when you going through something like this,’ I can’t. I can’t. I’m called to this. I’m called for this.”
