The second day of fashion week saw shows from Black women-helmed labels Aisling Camps and Nardos, to much of the community’s anticipation and delight. Nardos brought gorgeously detailed evening and bridal wear to the runway while Aisling Camps delivered delicate, draped knitwear.
What is particularly evident based on day two’s street >Telsha Andersoon-Boone was spotted in a tan utility jacket, layered grey sweater, and fringe layer skirt. Then, Solange Franklin’s dark-hued ensemble was enhanced with a textured coat, fringe waistline detail, and chunky-knit number wrapped around her neck.
Ariana Debose stepped out at Carolina Herrera with a popped collar and ruffle-lined pencil skirt, while Monica wore a crimson ensemble with Christian Siriano.
