For decades, people in the U.S. have talked about something called the “Kennedy Curse.” It refers to the series of untimely deaths, accidents, assassinations, high-profile scandals, and other calamities that have befallen the family of President John F. Kennedy. These tragedies go back much further than the 1963 assassination of JFK; they date back as far as the mid 1940s.

In 2026, though, I’m pretty sure the “Kennedy Curse” is entirely the existence of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Because regardless of any decades-old controversies that might have surrounded the family, Kennedy was a name that held prestige. It commanded respect for generations. The Kennedy name is so iconic that they put JFK’s name on an institution of art to memorialize him, and 55 years later, the current president got so jealous about it that federal judges had to tell him multiple times that he wasn’t allowed to desecrate it by adding his own stupid-ass name to it.

Speaking of President Donald Trump, he’s the MAGA moron who re-cursed the Kennedys by putting RFK Jr. front and center in U.S. politics, so the entire world can see he’s a racist dumbass who, apparently, has learned everything he knows about medical science from the same parts of the internet that helped flat-earthers, moon landing deniers, and people who think the Earth and moon are actually fake find their tribe.

As we recently reported, RFK has come under fire for flying off into a racist and thoroughly debunked rant about how Arabs don’t produce science, win Nobel Prizes, or produce literature, and for bonus bigot points, he threw in a quip about how he thinks Indians stink and “might make a lot of you want to vomit.”

On Friday, he sought to clarify his comments on Arabs in a lengthy post about how his speech “was not a critique of Arabs or Islam, but of Islamism,” accompanied by a graphic that was meant to, I guess, illustrate how many more Jewish people have won Nobel Prizes than Muslims.

So, to defend himself against allegations of racism, RFK decided to write the longest “I’m not racist, but…” manifesto ever, and it still boiled down to: “Yes, I’m racist AF, but Jews still got more Nobels.”

But long before the Kennedy that real Kennedys don’t claim was out here taking to the stage to show the world that what RFK really stands for is Red-Faced Klansmen, he was out here claiming that “COVID-19 was a genetically engineered bioweapon that targeted Black and White people but spared Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese people,” that  Lyme disease is also a “militarily engineered bioweapon,” that Black people don’t need white people’s vaccine schedule due to our super negro immune systems, and that Black children should be “re-parented” because they’re “all” on ADHD meds. And all of that was before he was confirmed as Trump’s health secretary, which happened after a confirmation hearing in which RFK revealed that he didn’t know the difference between Medicaid and Medicare.

Since becoming the nation’s leading medical authority, he has become the nation’s leading vaccine skeptic, has taken his grandkids swimming in sewage, has declared that Tylenol causes autism — only to un-declare it later — has sought to defund Black maternal health research because he stupidly thinks it’s DEI, and has overseen

In fact, as far as I can tell, the only truthful thing RFK has ever said regarding medical health is that people absolutely should not take medical advice from him.

I’m just sayin — the Kennedy legacy and name deserve better.
