Before we get started, it’s important to understand something: I’m a Megyn Kelly hater.

Not a casual hater.

Not a “she gets on my nerves sometimes” hater.

I’m talking about the kind of hater who needs to disclose a conflict of interest before the hating begins.

That’s because Megyn Kelly is a trash can, and don’t make that face; she worked to be a trash can; she wades in garbage juice; she’s the bin where all the historically bad takes Stephen A. Smith has passed up get tossed.

And she’s proud of it.

Recently, Megyn Kelly (did I mention that I hate the Black spelling of her first name?) was on her YouTube channel feigning upset over singer Olivia Rodrigo’s proclamation that she stands with the Cornell rape case’s Jane Doe.

So if any of that was TL;DR, let me make it shorter: Olivia Rodrigo expressed sympathy for an alleged rape survivor.

Megyn Kelly took offense to that.

Do you know what you have to be in order to get annoyed that someone has compassion for an alleged rape survivor?

A trash can.

Kelly didn’t just tell the singer to “sit down and be quiet”; she also added that the Grammy winner doesn’t “know what the f–k you’re talking about” and should “shut up and stick to singing.”

And she wasn’t finished.

“I liked you better when you were in front of a microphone singing your weird little depressing songs,” she continued. “It’s better to keep your mouth shut and let people suspect you’re an idiot than to open it and prove them right. Ever hear that saying? It applies to you, sweetheart.”

Kelly apparently was ticked off that Rodrigo’s IG story demanded “economic reparations” for rape survivors, such as full scholarships and funding for therapy, Entertainment Weekly reports.

“Adults are talking… We don’t need the participation of know-nothing morons who have been auto-tuned into fame and suddenly think they have something profound to say on the culture wars,” continued the human receptacle who used to be on an NBC News show, Megyn Kelly Today, but it was canceled in 2018, following her defense of “blackface” as Halloween costumes.

Told you.

As if bashing Rodrigo for her supportive stance wasn’t enough, Kelly then warned, “I’m going to have to start pulling your music and your lyrics and take a deep dive into exactly the kind of messaging that you are pushing on young women. I guarantee it’s not going to end well for you, Olivia.”

All of this because Rodrigo had the audacity to post Sunday shaming Cornell “and every institution who protects rapists and abusers over women.” Oh, wait, she also committed the egregious crime of praising Jane Doe for her “bravery” and vowed that “the crimes against her will not go unpunished. What she lived through matters, and so does the failure of those who could have intervened but chose not to. She deserves answers, consequences, and lasting change.”

Apparently, what inflamed Kelly’s Christian underpants was the fact that the alleged victim was allowed to remain anonymous while the accused young men have been publicly identified.

“What’s being done to them now, threatening with decades of imprisonment over what was clearly a consensual, if disgusting, night at the Chi Phi House, is deeply wrong,” she insisted. “That’s deeply wrong morally.”

Yes, a trash can as the moral police seems about white, I mean, right.

Because apparently the real injustice here isn’t the possibility that a woman was raped. It’s that somebody had the nerve to believe her before Megyn Kelly decided she was worthy of compassion.

And if that’s the hill Kelly wants to die on, she can have it. Just don’t forget to take the trash out when she’s finished.
