Chico Bean takes his marathon tour to Chicago, Atlanta and Nashville
Finding people who understand the journey can change how you approach the starting line. In episode 2 of Major, Chico connects with Black-led running communities in Chicago, Atlanta, and Nashville. Peace Runners 773, Atlanta Run Club, and 6RUN5 share the stories and purpose behind getting more Black runners moving, while Chico reflects on the value of having a network in every city.
The conversations connect marathon preparation with representation, friendship, and the familiar feeling of HBCU community. As New York approaches, Chico is learning how much support can come with simply showing up.
