Over 100,000 Cases Of Gatorade Recalled

OOver the past few months, the United States has been getting hit with multiple food and medication recalls, and now we’ve got another one. This time it’s Gatorade, so check your pantries; PepsiCo has voluntarily recalled 122,021 cases of Gatorade sold in 37 states due to undeclared food coloring that could pose a health risk for some people.

The FDA says the recall is issued for 28oz bottles and the following flavors: Lemon Lime, Lemon Lime Zero, Orange, and Orange Zero. These cases were distributed in the following states:

The FDA says the yellow dyes in the beverages can cause allergic reactions, including hives, itching, or nasal congestion, in some people who consume the beverage. Customers should check to see if they have the affected product, not consume the beverage, and return it to the place of purchase.
