Kandi Burruss says Todd Tucker lives “rent-free” in guest house and hasn’t contributed financially to their children amid divorce

The reality star alleges her estranged husband has remained in her guest house without contributing financially as their divorce and custody proceedings unfold.
Reality TV star and music industry vet Kandi Burruss is shedding light on the current circumstances involving her divorce from estranged husband Todd Tucker in recent court filings, claiming he has been living “rent-free” in her Atlanta guest house since their separation and isn’t contributing financially to the property or their children.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Burruss says the guest house, which is located on property she owned before the marriage, has been occupied by Tucker without him paying any expenses related to maintenance, utilities, lawn care, pest control, or even the alarm system.
Burruss, best known for her long run on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and her work in music and Broadway, also alleges that Tucker has not provided financial support for their two children. She says that although he attended their kids’ recent birthday celebrations, he refused to contribute to the costs and hasn’t helped cover tuition, school supplies, or child support.
The filing comes amidst ongoing disputes over custody and support. Burruss notes in the legal documents that she has been working in New York on Broadway since late 2025 and has been flying back to Atlanta to spend time with their children, even as they navigate these court battles.
In the filings, Burruss is asking a judge to order Tucker to begin paying child support and to formalize parenting time arrangements.
Tucker’s representatives have not responded publicly to the latest claims, and it’s unclear how the court will rule on Burruss’ requests.
