In between naps, lying to the public and the press and talking softly to the Prime Minister of Israel, the president found time to approve a recommendation from the privileged Warmonger Pete Hegseth to have convicted Fort Hood mass killer Nidal Hasan executed by a U.S. Army firing squad.

Yep, you read that correctly. We are currently living in an alternative reality in which the White House looks like a condemned project, the president is openly bribing people to vote for his party, and they are bringing back death by firing squad.

Hasan, 56, would be the first person killed by U.S. armed forces in a court-martial since 1961, when Army Pvt. John Bennett was hanged after he was convicted for the rape and murder of an Austrian girl, CNBC reports.

In 2013, Hasan was convicted and sentenced to death for the Nov. 5, 2009, mass shooting that killed 13 and injured 32 others at an Army base in Killeen, Texas, where he was a major.

Hasan told the judge during his court-martial that he was motivated in the shooting to defend the “leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the Taliban.”

In September 2025, Warmonger Hegseth noted that Trump approved of Hasan’s execution, which is important since federal law explains that a person can only be convicted through a court-martial with presidential approval.

“Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has recommended — and President Donald J. Trump has approved — death by U.S. Army firing squad for convicted terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan, the jihadist who opened fire on unarmed American soldiers at Fort Hood in 2009,” Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said in a post on X, Monday.

“He killed 13 people and wounded 32 others while shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ during the attack,” Parnell said. The spokesman also said the Army secretary “will set the time and place of the execution.”

“Judgement day for Hasan has finally come,” Parnell wrote.

Hegseth retweeted Parnell’s post, writing “Justice.”

Hasan submitted a petition to appeal his conviction on March 31, 2025, and was denied by the Supreme Court.

“I am 100 percent committed to ensuring the death penalty is carried out for Nidal Hasan,” Hegseth told The Hill in September 2025.

“This savage terrorist deserves the harshest lawful punishment for his 2009 mass shooting at Fort Hood,” Hegseth said at that time. “The victims and survivors deserve justice without delays.”
