Anti-MAGA Troll Compares Trump Rally To Jonestown On Fox News

In today’s episode of Not All Heroes Wear Capes, And None Of Them Wear MAGA Hats, a Fox News host has gone viral for getting eloquently trolled by a man he thought was a Trump supporter at a GOP rally in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

It really was a master class in in-person trolling by a white man who knew he could be anti-MAGA and hide in plain sight among the Caucasian troglodytes he, like many, believes have formed a cult.

“Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre,” the rally attendee, apparently named Tom, said when asked why he was there that morning. “But this is as close as I’ll ever get, so that’s why I’m here.”

The bewildered Fox reporter, who still didn’t realize he was being set up for the okey-doke, asked the man why he was referencing the 1978 Jonestown massacre, in which notorious cult leader Rev. Jim Jones ordered his followers to murder a US congressman and several journalists, then commit mass suicide by drinking cyanide-laced fruit punch — which I’m pretty sure is where the expression “drinking the Kool-Aid” came from.

“There’s nothing like seeing a cult right up front,” Tom responded.

Now, I’m not sure if the guy from Fox was unaware of the history of Jonestown, or if it just took too long for him to make the connection, but he immediately said, “Alright, so maybe this is not a Trump supporter,” and swiftly moved on to somebody else.

Yeah — I like Tom.

Tom is basically the opposite of that Black MAGA woman who got booted from a Ken Paxton rally because somebody spotted her and assumed she was a supporter of James Talarico. Conversely, Tom understood that a GOP rally is a place where he could use his whiteness to do some good — or at least give us all a nice, hearty laugh.
