‘Beauty in Black’ follows two women leading very different lives.
Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams) is struggling to make ends meet after her mother kicks her out. Mallory (Crystle Stewart) is running a successful business, and they become entangled in each other’s lives.
The trailer begins where Part 1 ends, with Kimmie running her car into Body (Tamera “Tee” Kissen), a stripper and low-level boss at the club where Kimmie works. This leaves questions about the fate of Body, Kimmie, and Sylvia (Kimmie’s sister).
Stewart and Kissen are joined on the cast by Richard Lawson, Debbi Morgan, Julian Horton, Charles Malik Whitfield, and Amber Reign Smith.
Part 2 of ‘Beauty in Black’ premieres on Netflix on March 6.
