Just three months after learning about the dropping of a $10 million sexual assault lawsuit against him stemming from a 2013 incident, Trey Songz is seemingly walking away unscathed from yet another similar legal woe.

Two women alleged Songz drugged and sexually assaulted them at a party in 2015 – leading them to file a lawsuit against the GRAMMY nominee in late 2023.

According to recent court documents, however, the alleged victims’ lawyer opted to drop the complaint without prejudice but did not detail why.

As we previously reported, the pair of Jane Does sued Songz with claims they were drugged and coerced into engaging in nonconsensual sexual acts including oral sex, nipple biting, and him forcing his fingers inside of them.

At the time of the suit his attorney, Michael Freedman, took to press to refute the women’s belief they’re owed damages for the long-lasting trauma the event allegedly caused.

“This is yet another example of nearly decade-old allegations being repurposed to take advantage of California’s constitutionally questionable new look back window,” the lawyer said.

Because the victims’ lawyer dropped the case without prejudice there is a chance they could refile at a later time.
