Travis Kelce Makes a Significant Retirement Hint

Travis Kelce has acknowledged that he may be nearing the end of his NFL career. During the worst season of his career, Kelce realizes he doesn’t have much time left in the league.

Part of Kelce’s poor performance can be attributed to his incredibly slow start to the season. But week after week, he keeps putting on lackluster performances.

Kelce has only scored twice this season and hasn’t scored a touchdown since November 10. Furthermore, he is having trouble getting over 60 yards at times this season and has only reached 100 yards once. Travis Kelce continues to break records despite these difficulties. He became the fastest tight end to reach 12,000 yards on Sunday.

Travis Kelce speaks about retirement

Tony Gonzalez’s record of 210 games was surpassed by Kelce, who accomplished it in 172 games. After learning of this, Kelce revealed something concerning his playing career’s future.

On the New Heights podcast, Kelce stated: “God damn, he played 210 games, how the f**k did he play so many games,” “Well he played more than that, it took him 210 games to get to 12,000,”

Travis acknowledged that he doesn’t believe he will play another 40 games in his career after considering how many games that was. He stated: “40 more games, I don’t know if I can, I don’t know if I can play 40 more!”

Andy Reid doesn’t want his players to slow down, even if he has admitted that some of them aren’t playing their best football. Reid is making sure that his squad gives it their all, even if they have a 12-1 record.
