Travis Hunter, the Heisman Trophy-winning two-way star from Colorado, is set to sign with Lil Wayne’s agency, Young Money APAA Sports, for his on-field NFL representation via Front Office Sports.

Hunter concluded his collegiate career on December 28, 2024, playing in the Alamo Bowl where Colorado lost 36–14 to BYU. He is widely projected to be a top-five pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Notably, during his Heisman acceptance speech, Hunter gave a shoutout to Lil Wayne, reflecting their growing association via Awful Announcing.

While Young Money APAA Sports will handle Hunter’s on-field representation, he will continue his off-field representation with SMAC Entertainment—the same agency that represents Colorado coach Deion Sanders and his son Shedeur. SMAC has been instrumental in securing major NIL deals for Hunter, including a partnership with Adidas that is expected to extend into his professional career.

This collaboration marks a significant addition to Young Money APAA Sports’ roster, which includes athletes across the NFL, NBA, soccer, and college sports. The agency reportedly outpaced other major sports agencies in securing Hunter’s representation.

Hunter’s decision to align with Lil Wayne’s agency underscores the growing intersection between sports and entertainment, highlighting the influence of cultural icons in the sports representation industry.
