Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert‘s divorce has taken another dramatic turn.

According to Taylor, the leak of confidential divorce documents has subjected her to online harassment and hate speech, fueled by misleading reports about the assets she allegedly received in the split.
In a statement, Taylor clarified that there was no settlement in the divorce. Instead, both she and Shumpert received what the court awarded them. She also emphasized that she paid for the cars and the tour bus. Taylor pointed out that Shumpert walked away with three properties, including one that was originally a gift to her.
The singer and her legal team are now demanding that a judge hold Shumpert in contempt of court, which could lead to a 20-day jail sentence and maximum fines for violating the court’s privacy orders.
Shumpert’s attorney has firmly denied these accusations. A statement read:
“My client, Mr. Iman Shumpert, has never leaked any allegations or claims stated in any of the pleadings in the Taylor/Shumpert divorce case.”
Nikki Taylor, Teyana’s mother and manager, expressed frustration over the situation. In a statement, she questioned the timing of the leaks, especially since the case was finalized on July 1, 2024. She said:
“It’s awfully strange that the case is sealed, yet all of this information about what Teyana allegedly received is suddenly public this week. What about the other party? Let’s be crystal clear—BOTH parties walked away with the properties, vehicles, and businesses they obtained separately.”
Taylor took to social media to further air out her issues:
