Swizz Beatz has made it clear that while Alicia Keys may have shared the chart-topping hit ‘My Boo‘ with Usher (the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show headliner), he still knows who his wife’s true boo is.
From dancing with Jennifer Hudson in front of her boyfriend Common to that infamous KeKe Palmer incident, the last year has seen Usher undoubtedly enter his villain era when it comes to the significant others of celebrity men.
The most recent headline-grabbing infraction came at the Super Bowl on Sunday (February 11) when the 45-year-old invited Keys on-stage to perform their 2004 smash hit ‘My Boo.’
When not gazing lovingly into her eyes, Ush hugged the 15-time GRAMMY winner very close from behind – a move some viewers felt was grossly inappropriate given that both stars are married.
Keys’ husband – GRAMMY-winning rapper-producer extraordinaire Swizz – didn’t seem to mind the up-close-and-personal action, however.
“Y’all talking about the wrong damn thing,” Beatz wrote on Instagram in response to the negative commentary about the Super Bowl show. “Yall don’t see that amazing dress covering the entire stadium…Tonight’s performance was nothing but amazing with 2 amazing Giants!”
That’s not all he said.
“Congrats @usher and my love @aliciakeys that song is a classic,” he later added before saying, “We don’t do negative vibes on this side we make history.”
As of time of this report Keys nor Usher have responded to the criticism.
