Saquon Barkley Announces Engagement To His Baby Mama Anna Congdon Ahead Of Super Bowl LIX

Eagles star Saquon Barkley just announced that he’s getting engaged to his longtime girlfriend Anna Congdon! And get this – he made the big announcement ahead of the Super Bowl LXI! Talk about timing!

Saquon and Anna have been together for what feels like forever, and it’s about time they took the next step in their relationship. We couldn’t be happier for them and we can’t wait to see them tie the knot!

Now, some of you might be thinking, “Wait, shouldn’t Saquon be focusing on the big game?” Well, don’t worry, he’s got everything under control. This engagement announcement just shows that he is not only a star on the field, but he’s also making moves in his personal life.

The couple began dating in 2017 and share two young children. Barkley confirmed to People that they are engaged, too.

‘I can’t be the athlete I am and have the success I have had in my career without the help of her,’ the 27-year-old said.

‘She always has my back, not only in football but throughout life… as we continue to grow and mature and go through life together, we continue getting closer and continue to get even better.’

He added: ‘It’s a beautiful thing because we have two amazing children… and we just sit back and laugh sometimes when they’re over there playing and just smile and think about where everything started.’

The running back met Congdon during his time at Penn State University and they have now been dating for nearly a decade.

They welcomed their first child, Jada, in April 2018 before their son Saquon Jr – known as SJ – was born in September 2022.
