Ron Holland Praised by Draymond Green After Fight

Throughout his 13 NBA seasons, Draymond Green has been involved in a number of altercations. Green frequently interacts with other players, but on Thursday, when the Warriors traveled to Detroit, things were different.

In order to save an out-of-bounds ball in the fourth quarter, Dennis Schroder dove into the seats and ran into a fan. A dispute erupted between a group of Warriors and Pistons players as the game was stopped to check on the young woman in the crowd.

While Schroder and Isaiah Stewart were given technical fouls on one side, Draymond Green and Ron Holland were observed glaring at one another on the other.

Draymond Green talks about Ron Holland

Unexpectedly, the referee ignored the disagreement between Green and Holland despite the escalating tensions on both sides. Green praised the Pistons youngster Holland after the game.

Green stated: “Man, I love the young fella. I got an opportunity to see him play quite a few times in high school. I went to see him play… And I watched four minutes of the game and I was like, that’s the guy. He plays hard, not afraid of anything.”

Bringing up their conversation in the fourth quarter, Green expressed his admiration for Holland’s self-control.

“He has some traits that you can’t teach. And he’s not afraid to mix it up with you, which I love. That moment we had on the court was amazing”

Funny enough, Holland said that there was “peace, love, and happiness” between them when questioned about the same thing. A rookie who appears to already be familiar with the NBA media gave a fairly mature response. The rookie’s future in Detroit and the NBA as a whole is definitely bright.
