Stateside, ‘Heart’ recently saw its certification status pumped upward at the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) alongside its parent album, ‘Let’s Talk About Love,’ and other popular Dion titles.

On Thursday (November 3), the RIAA took to press to announce ‘My Heart Will Go On’ was elevated to 4x Platinum – meaning it’s sold the equivalence of 4 million in the United States.
A personal milestone for the Pop diva, ‘Heart’ extends its reign as her best-selling single in the U.S. Its 1997-released parent album, ‘Talk,’ was elevated to 11x Platinum on Thursday as well. The project is her second best-selling album in the territory and follows the 12x Platinum ‘Falling Into You’ released the year prior. Both efforts are listed among the highest-certified female studio albums of all time.
Finally, Dion’s 1998-released holiday LP – ‘These Are Special Times’ – was recently hoisted to 6x Platinum status.
Already one of the best-selling artists in the history of recorded music, the updates lift Celine’s cumulative album sales to 53 million in the United States.
Among females, her Stateside album sales total is only bested by Mariah Carey (71 million), Barbra Streisand (68.5 million), Madonna (64.5 million), and Whitney Houston (60 million).
