Barbara Walters, arguably the most famous female journalist in the history of television, has died aged 93.

According to reports, the legendary ABC broadcaster – who has lived quite the private life since 2016 due to her battle with advanced dementia – passed away in New York City on Friday (December 30).

One of the longest-serving journalists in TV history, her six-decade career has seen her interview some of Pop culture’s biggest stars from King of Pop Michael Jackson, Tom Cruise, Katharine Hepburn, Barbra Streisand, Mike Tyson, all the American presidents of the last six decades, and more.

The Television Hall of Famer, who boasts the collection of several EMMYs over her lifetime, is survived by her adopted daugher Jacqueline Dena Guber.
