Quinn Ewers, the football prodigy, just had his world rocked in the 2025 NFL Draft. And let me tell you, his girlfriend, Madelyn Barnes, is not happy about it. She’s gone on social media to shame the teams that snubbed him in the first round.
Now, to give you a little background, Quinn Ewers is the real deal. He’s got the talent and all and is a future star, no doubt about it. But for some insane reason, a bunch of teams passed up on him in the first round, with the Dolphins picking him in the seventh round. And Madelyn is not about to let that slide.
She took to Instagram to call out these teams and encouraged Quinn to prove these teams wrong in the NFL. Well, the ball is in his court now to prove himself.
She wrote, “Miami baby!! Time to prove ’em all wrong.”
Barnes also included a video from the University of Texas of an emotional Ewers presumably getting the call from Miami’s draft war room after he got word that the team selected him.
Ewers, 22, was embraced by his family after putting down the phone and wiping away tears.
Barnes, a marketing student at Oklahoma, and Ewers appear to have been dating for over two years based on photos she shared on her Instagram.
“So incredibly proud and overjoyed!!” Barnes added on Instagram. “Quinn, you are so deserving of this and a whole lot more! You’re the most driven, dedicated, and genuine man both on and off the field. I’m so excited for this journey and to watch you live out your dreams. GO DOLPHINS!!”
So, as the drama unfolds, we’ll be keeping an eye on Madelyn’s socials. Will she continue her tirade on the teams that passed on Quinn? Only time will tell. But one thing’s for sure, it’s a storyline worth following in the world of sports. Anyway, congrats to Quinn Ewers!
