Post Malone Responds to Accusations of Being a Culture Vulture

Post Malone has now responded to claims that he is a culture vulture.

In a video interview with ‘Newonce,’ Malone caught flack for saying: “If you’re looking for lyrics, if you’re looking to cry, if you’re looking to think about life, don’t listen to Hip Hop.”

“There are great Hip Hop songs where they talk about life, and they spit that real s**t, but right now, there’s not a lot of people talking about real s**t. Whenever I want to cry or sit down and have a nice cry, I’ll listen to some Bob Dylan,” he continued.

Malone’s rise to fame because of his Hip Hop songs like ‘Psycho’ and ‘White Iverson.’

Now, in a new interview with with GQ, he shared denied that he appropriated Blackness at the start of his career.

“I just want to be a person that makes music. I make music that I like, and I think that kicks a*s, that I think people who f**k with me as a person and as an artist will like.”

His new album is a country album and features some of the biggest name in the genre.
