Paul Pierce Says Its Time for Joel Embiid to Leave 76ERS

Joel Embiid and 76ers just can’t keep themselves out of the headlines. It seems like the season gets worse by the minute. The latest in the line of developments is a new saga involving MVP embiid in Paul Pierce’s commentary.

In pre-season, no one would have predicted the 76ers to be so far away from the top. Their record at 3-14 stands at an abysmal 14th in Eastern Conference Standings.

No one likes what goes on inside the dressing room to come out in the open. Well, we surely do, but not anyone actively playing. Recently, one such news made headlines across sports publications around the world. Joel Embiid is a bonafide superstar and he is incredibly crucial to the 76ers having any resemblance of chance in coming games. Well, he wouldn’t have expected the leak that came out earlier this week that sent shockwaves across media platforms.

Tyrese Maxey called out Joel Embiid for his lack of professionalism. What comes as a surprise is that no one denied the reports and the only response came from Joel himself. He was clearly annoyed at the leak and said: “Whoever leaked that is a real piece of s**t. We talked about a lot of things [during the meeting]. I don’t want to get into the details, but that whole thing [with Maxey] probably took 30 seconds,”

Paul Pierce claims that Joel Embiid and the 76ers are done

Former NBA champion Paul Pierce said on Fox Sports’ “Speak” that he doesn’t think Embiid and the 76ers can still work things out and that it’s time for them to part ways.

Paul said: “I hate to say it, but I believe the process is over in Philadelphia…,” “They’ve tried this for a number of years, I think the relationships have soured in Philadelphia. Although Joel Embiid is a generational talent, an MVP in this league, I just think it’s time for both sides to part ways.”
