After spending the weekend ranting at Megan Thee Stallion for the fiery diss track ‘Hiss,’ Minaj lifted a musical clap back of her own Monday at midnight (January 29) with the premiere of ‘Big Foot.‘

The controversial tune was laden with its fair share of disparaging remarks including allegations that Stallion engages in sexual activity to secure tracks, has had extensive cosmetic surgery, and more.

Attention from detractors and Minaj’s beloved fans (affectionately called #Barbz) not only sent ‘Big Foot’ running to the top of Twitter’s trending topics but also sales and streaming charts.

Just hours after its arrival the song soared to the top 5 of the iTunes sales charts in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and 43 other countries (including hitting #1 in Brazil, France, Nigeria, Barbados, South Africa, Spain, and more).

The collective sales performance saw ‘Foot’ race to #1 on the current Worldwide iTunes Song list.

Once coupled with streaming numbers from all the major digital platforms as well as total sales data, the tune’s overall first-week commercial performance could spell for a promising premiere placement on the American Hot 100.
