Marcus Jordan Talks After Being Arrested for DUI

Days after being arrested for DUI, Marcus Jordan is now speaking out, expressing gratitude to everyone who got in touch with him after the arrest, but for the time being, he’s putting his attention elsewhere.

On his Instagram story Thursday morning, the son of NBA star Michael Jordan stated that his store, The Trophy Room, is his top focus and that he “won’t be making any comments on recent media stories and my personal life.”

He also said: “I sincerely appreciate your concerns & thank you for your kind understanding,” 

The 34-year-old was taken into custody in Florida early Tuesday… after police found his vehicle stranded on railroad tracks, as we previously reported. He attempted to persuade the officers to assist him in moving the whip, but they were more worried about his obvious drunkenness.

During the conversation, he once mentioned his well-known father in an attempt to avoid difficulty, but it didn’t work. He fought at first when they put him in handcuffs and threw him in the back of a squad car after a battery of tests. They searched him and found a small baggie of white substance, which subsequently tested positive for cocaine.

In addition to the DUI allegation, he was also arrested for cocaine possession and nonviolently resisting an officer. A few hours later, he was freed.
