Lance Reddick, Beloved Star Of ’The Wire’ & ‘John Wick’ Franchise, Reportedly Dies From Natural Causes At 60

Fans, family, and friends are in mourning as news breaks of the sudden and tragic passing of actor Lance Reddick at the age of 60. According to his publicist, the actor died of natural causes at his California home. Celebrate the esteemed actor inside… The world of cinema is mourning the sudden passing of actor Lance Reddick, known for his roles in "The Wire" and the John Wick series. The 60-year-old actor died of natural causes at his home in Studio City, California, according to his representative, Mia Hansen. The Hollywood star was a versatile actor who played a range of characters, from the smartly-dressed special agent Phillip Broyles in "Fringe" to the taciturn Lt. Cedric Daniels in "The Wire." In the John Wick franchise, he played the charismatic and unflappable concierge Charon, who provided sanctuary to assassins. The fourth installment of the series, set to be released next week, will be his final appearance as Charon. He released his first album, "Contemplations and Remembrances," in 2011.
