Over the weekend, Aaron Rodgers, who is currently the most sought-after quarterback in free agency, traded in his beach flops for more fitting field attire. The 41-year-old was spotted throwing balls at a charity flag football game at Saddleback College in Orange County, California, which was organized by athlete-backed investment firm RX3 Growth Partners, amid roiling rumors about his NFL future.

The New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers are among the clubs apparently waiting for Rodgers’ word this summer; one former NFL general manager even went so far as to say that Rodgers is holding the Steelers organization “hostage.”

According to a recent story from The Athletic, Rodgers is seeking to sign with the Minnesota Vikings.

The former New York Jets quarterback appeared to be at ease in the sun on Saturday, despite the fact that many fans are furious over where Rodgers may end up in 2025. Josh Allen, a star for the Buffalo Bills, was also attending the occasion and couldn’t help but make light of the old sourpuss.

Allen called out to Rodgers from the sidelines, “That’s a delay of game.” “Throw it!”

After tossing a dime to his receiver, Rodgers turned to face Allen and shrugged sarcastically.

It’s unclear if Rodgers will retire, join another team, or follow in Brett Favre’s footsteps. As of the now, the veteran appears to be free of obligations and enjoying his time on the West Coast.
