DIVORCE SETTLED: Kanye West Ordered To Pay Kim K $200K A Month In Child Support For Their Four Children

Almost two years after the divorce papers were filed, Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) and Kim Kardashian are officially single. Ye has been ordered by a judge to pay Kim K $200,000 per month in child support for their four children. Details inside…  It’s official. Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) and Kim Kardashian are officially divorced, which took longer since the rapper kept changing attorneys. In February 2021, Kim K filed for divorce from Ye after four kids and 7 years of marriage. The former couple has settled their child custody and property disputes, allowing a judge to sign off on the divorce. The Grammy winning rapper and the Skims founder will reportedly have joint custody with equal access to their four children, North (9), Saint (6), Chicago (4), and Psalm (3). Despite the fact that the documents state equal access, sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ that Kim will spend the majority of his time with the children. According to the settlement, the “Gold Digger" rapper must pay his ex-wife $200,000 in child support each month. He is also responsible for half of the children's educational expenses, such as tuition, as well as security costs. The $200K is due on the first of each month and must be wired into Kim’s account. According to the agreement, if Ye and Kim ever disagree about one of their four children, they must go to mediation to hash it out. If either party fails to attend the mediation session, the participating party becomes the decision-maker by default. What about spousal support? They both agreed to forego spousal support. Property assets were divided in accordance with the former couple's prenuptial agreement. Sources told TMZ Kim K has been walking on eggshells over the last year, with Ye going off the rails and refusing to participate in the divorce settlement. As previously reported, he has gone through a half-dozen lawyers and skipped depositions. TMZ reports: As one source put it, "Kim's patience was tested, but she handled things calmly and ultimately Kanye came around." The secret weapon in settling -- Disso Queen Laura Wasser, who played Henry Kissinger (Google it) ... going back and forth to resolve the outstanding issues. The divorce stalled because Kanye refused to engage, and Kim went to court last March to get an official decree ending the marriage, with both custody and property to be resolved at a later date. The settlement came Monday, on the eve Kanye was scheduled to have his deposition taken in case the matter went to trial next month. We have a feeling folks will be sounding off about this $200,000/month!
