In a surprising twist, attorney Tony Buzbee is withdrawing from more than a dozen sex trafficking lawsuits filed against Diddy in New York’s federal court.

Legal docs obtained by TMZ confirm that Buzzbee is stepping away from 15 cases in the Southern District of New York (SDNY) after admitting he’s not authorized to practice in the district.

The move comes after Diddy’s legal team argued Buzbee had no business filing suits in SDNY an argument that appears to have gained traction.

Buzbee spoke on his failure to disclose his admission status and said:

“I made an error in judgment by failing to inform you that I was not admitted to the Southern District.”

He went on to stress that he didn’t want to become a distraction from the victims’ claims.

However, he made it clear that the lawsuits will continue under other New York law firms, and he’s gearing up to file new cases in Nevada and California.

Buzbee has been a trending topic after being sued by Jay-Z for roping the mogul into a Diddy sexual assault suit that was eventually dropped when the Jane Doe confessed on audio that Jay did nothing to her.

As for Diddy, he may have won this round, but the legal storm is far from over. Currently behind bars, his federal criminal for sex trafficking and racketeering begins in May.
